2. The Solution: A Strategic Leap to All-Cloud Architecture

To address this challenge, TM partnered with Genew to implement its Next-Generation Voice (NGV 1.0) project. This comprehensive solution involved a full stack of Genew's virtualized network functions to completely replace the legacy physical infrastructure.

Genew delivered and integrated a complete all-cloud core network, including:

vC4 Softswitch: The virtualized core of the new network, handling call control and switching.
vAIN and vEMS GR: A virtualized Application Intelligent Network and Element Management System with Geographic Redundancy for enhanced resilience and service control.
vNASS and vEMS GR: A virtualized Network Access Subscriber System and EMS with Geographic Redundancy for secure and reliable access management.
Telekom Malaysia UCaaS Platform: A foundational platform for delivering future Unified Communications as a Service.
A key component of the solution was the integration of Management and Orchestration (MANO) capabilities. This provided TM with significantly improved network flexibility and automation, enabling efficient resource provisioning, service delivery, and network management.
