Product Description
In a disaster, every second counts. The system gives people the time they need to act before harm arrives. It turns real‑time hazard detection into actionable alerts delivered directly to every citizen’s mobile phone.
What It Delivers
Universal reach – alerts reach every user in the affected area, regardless of handset type or network congestion.
Precision – warnings target only the geographic area at risk using polygon‑based geo‑fencing, avoiding unnecessary panic.
Immediate attention – high‑priority alerts override silent mode and trigger a distinctive audible alert, proven in the UK, Japan, and the US.
Multi‑channel redundancy – beyond cell broadcast, the system can use SMS, app push, TV, and voice calls to ensure no one is left uninformed.
Product Architecture
GENEW CBE (Cell Broadcast Entity) serves as the unified entry and generation platform for warning information, interfacing upward with various government alerting agencies and downward with the Cell Broadcast Centres (CBCs) of Mobile Network Operators (MNOs). This enables centralized management, precise targeting, and reliable distribution of warning messages.
GENEW CBC (Cell Broadcast Centre) is a core network element of the Cell Broadcast System (CBS). It is responsible for efficiently and reliably broadcasting warning messages received from the Cell Broadcast Entity (CBE) to various platform.
